So, my conclusion is that there is some code or scr ipt server-side that feels the need to change the resolution settings for NES games running through Mednafen. My most recent attempt was to set the config file in my Vizzed data folder to "read-only" but that only causes the emulator to hang when running through Vizzed. My question is: could there be ANY way to get around this? I installed Mednafen on my local machine and ran a NES rom of Gauntlet II with these settings and did not have any problems. Yet, every time I load a game on Vizzed, it overwrites these values back to 640x480 and I keep having the same fullscreen struggles as before. I changed the X/Y scaling values to 16:9. I set the values to my screen's native resolution of 1920 width by 1080 height, just like I use for Nestopia. With some help from thephantombrain and from Google, I found the values in Mednafen's configuration file that control the resolution and X-axis/Y-axis scaling.

Is there any way I can do that with Mednafen? Or is there some kind of graphics driver I can download for my TV so that it won't be so finicky with low resolutions? I think that's because Nestopia is capable of stretching the NES game's native resolution to whatever resolution I desire that my TV and graphics card can handle.

All of my NES roms run full screen without a problem. However, I never have this problem with Nestopia on my desktop. And Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
